About Our Product... Our Botanical Hotplate is used as an insulator to protect your surface from damage caused by hot food containers. Our finished wood sides have been coated with a protective sealant. Avoid placing in direct sunlight as some botanicals may loose color. Clean with a damp cloth or glass cleaner. Do not place in dishwasher of submerge in water. Our durable plastic can withstand temperatures of most cooked foods, however, foods cooked on the stove top should be transferred to a serving dish before placing on hotplate. We have tested casserole dishes direct from the oven up to 400 degrees. We do not recommend using thick pots or pans such as cast iron. Please remember products are natural and may vary in size and color. We are not responsible for any damages due to misuse of this product.
